Ambassador Faily Delivers Remarks During Ramadan Iftar Event at Al Hadi Center in Washington, DC

Al Hadi Center Hosted an Iftar Event to Honor Ambassador Faily, where he called for tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

Ambassador Faily attended a Ramadan Iftar event at Al Hadi Center in Washington, DC on Sunday, July 21st, 2013. The event was attended by a number of those in the Iraqi community living in the United States. Iftar is the meal that marks the end of the daily fast.

Ambassador Faily delivered remarks during the event, extending his well wishes to Muslim people around the world and Iraqi community in the United States on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Ambassador Faily stressed the importance of unity, called for tolerance and encouraged people to strive for peaceful coexistence to build national interests.
