The Embassy of Iraq Restores Antiquities

In a repatriation ceremony held at the Embassy of Iraq, four antiquities were returned to the Government of Iraq.

Four historical antiquities were returned to the Government of Iraq by The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, International Operations Divisions. The historic items, unlawfully collected, were repatriated at a private ceremony held at the Embassy of Iraq in Washington, DC on October 25, 2013.

The antiquities ranged the timeline of the history of Iraq from Babylonian period to Akkadian and Assyrian periods.
