Wife of Iraqi Ambassador Participates in Fundraiser for Victims of Hurricane Sandy

Mrs. Nahla Alnaaimi, the wife of H.E. Ambassador Jabir Habeb participated in a fundrasing event hosted by Mrs. Rosa Djalal, the wife of the Ambassador of Indonesia and the Muslim Women’s Association (MWA) for the Red Cross.

November 27, 2012 – Mrs. Nahla Alnaaimi, the wife of H.E. Ambassador Jabir Habeb participated in a fundrasing event hosted by Mrs. Rosa Djalal, the wife of the Ambassador of Indonesia and the Muslim Women’s Association (MWA) for the Red Cross. The function was arranged at the Indonesian ambassador’s residence, and attended by spouses of members of the diplomatic corps, and distinguished guests. The event also featured an exhibition of traditional costumes, a fashion show of Indonesian customs, and traditional food. The festival concluded with a bid on donated items by participants countries, where the proceeds would go to Hurricane Sandy victims.
