Ambassador Jabir Habeb has welcomed in his office the Archbishop, Afak Asadorian, the head of the Armenian Orthodox church in Iraq and the head of the council of Christian Sects.
September 21, 2012 – Ambassador Jabir Habeb has welcomed in his office the Archbishop, Afak Asadorian, the head of the Armenian Orthodox church in Iraq and the head of the council of Christian Sects. The ambassador and his guest discussed the conditions of Christian citizens in Iraq and their significant role as a genuine part of Iraqi society, history and culture. The two sides emphasized the importance of advancing efforts aiming to maintain Christian presence and to protect Christian citizens and endowments in Iraq.
The discussions included other topics of common interest.
