President Salih confirmed that he would approve early elections by adopting to the new electoral Law and a new Electoral Commission.

Addressing the Iraqis People on Thursday evening, President Salih said that, “The Prime Minister had agreed to resign, asking political blocs to agree on appointing an acceptable alternative, taking into their considerations the constitutional and legal contexts that would prevent a constitutional void.”
