Sayyid Mohammad Baqir Al-Kashmiri, the representative of the Supreme Religious Reference (Marjaeya) in North America visited the Embassy on August 21 to congratulate Ambassador Nazar Al Khirullah on the assumption of his duties as Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the USA.

The Embassy hosted on August 15 a delegation of officers from the Iraqi army, Ministry of Interior, Counter-terrorism Service and the Peshmerga after they had completed a training course in the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA Centre) within the program of the National Defense University NDU.
