Foreign Minister Zebari and Ambassador Faily Meet with White House Deputy National Security Advisor
Foreign Minister Zebari, along with his delegation visiting Washington, DC this week, and Ambassador Faily met with Tony Blinken at the White House to discuss bilateral political and security relations.
During his visit this week to Washington, DC, Foreign Minister Zebari and Ambassador Faily met at the White House on August 14, 2013 with Tony Blinken, Deputy National Security Advisor for President Obama.
Discussions included consolidating bilateral relations and further implementing the Strategic Framework Agreement between the two countries. In addition, both sides discussed regional issues including the crisis in Syria, and the forthcoming Geneva-2 Conference to peacefully resolve the crisis in Syria.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister’s Iraqi high level delegation.
