Foreign Minister Dr. Al-Jaafari concluded his representation for Iraq at 73rd Session of United Nations General Assembly in New York by meeting with the staff of Iraq’s representtion to the United Nations.

He praised the efforts made by the staff of the mission to make Iraq’s representation in the meetings of the United Nations a success , stressing that Iraq has broken the isolation that it faced for many years and was able to extend bridges with all countries of the world and mobilize international efforts to help it in its war against Daesh terrorist gangs. Noting that the achievements of diplomatic successes came in concurrence with the efforts of the staff of the Foreign Ministry without exception, pointing out that Iraq has committed to the positive role in the issues of the region and the world, and has not compromised its stances and always called for peace and stability of the region and avoid wars and conflicts that threaten the people and waste wealth.
