Jordan, Iraq, Egypt join hands on natural gas, oil
The government expects an oil pipeline from Iraq to deliver 1 million barrels of oil to the Jordanian coastal city of Aqaba by 2018.
The Jordanian government recently announced that it has signed natural gas deals with Egypt and discussed the prospects for future oil cooperation with Iraq.
Iraqi Oil Minister Abdul Kareem al-Luaibi joined Egyptian Petroleum Minister Sherif Ismail Mohamed in Amman for a trilateral energy meeting between the three countries.
Regarding Iraq, the Jordanian government said both sides expected an oil pipeline from Iraq would be able to deliver about 1 million barrels of oil to the Jordanian coastal city of Aqaba by 2018.
