نظمت سفارة جمهورية العراق في واشنطن فعالية ثقافية في 31 كانون الأول 2024، باستضافة أعضاء من منظمة (THIS)، التي تشمل الدبلوماسيات الأجنبيات وزوجات الدبلوماسيين المقيمين في واشنطن. وعرفت هذه الفعالية الحاضرين بعمق العادات والتقاليد العراقية الغنية والمتنوعة، وقدمت عرضاً لأفلام قصيرة تبرز تاريخ حضارة وادي الرافدين العريقة وإنجازاتها للبشرية.

وخلال الفعالية، أقيمت مأدبة فطور تضمنت تشكيلة واسعة من الأصناف العراقية، وشهد الحدث حضور السفيرة التونسية في العاصمة واشنطن بين الحاضرات الأخريات ، حيث أعربن عن إعجابهن بالتنظيم المتقن للفعالية والموضوعات التي ألقت الضوء بشكل مميز على العراق. …

إستضافت سفارة جمهورية العراق في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، أعضاءً من نادي الصحافة الوطني ولجنة المراسلين الدولية، في حفل استقبال بمقر السفارة تجسيداً لالتزام العراق ببناء جسور التواصل وتعزيزها مع العالم الخارجي. وقدم الحدث منصةً فريدةً للحوار المفتوح وتبادل الأفكار بين الدبلوماسيين والصحفيين الدوليين.
