Prime Minister Al-Abadi’s First Official Visit to the United States
Dr. Haider Al-Abadi made his first official visit to the United States as Prime Minister, at the invitation of President Barack Obama. The visit included bilateral meetings with administration officials and members of Congress; representatives of U.S. businesses and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the Managing Director of IMF and the President of World Bank; a meeting with Iraqi F-16 fighter pilots; and the Iraqi community.
